Dr Nerisha brings a unique blend of expertise. As a chartered accountant and certified yoga and meditation teacher, she combines ancient Eastern psychology and philosophy and Enneagram and integrated coaching expertise, with solid global business understanding. Her diverse experience and qualifications enable a holistic and unique approach to unleashing transformation in her clients. Her coaching ethos seeks to balance intelligent holistic business strategies with ethical consciousness and heart in leadership, encompassing holistic well-being. Her ethos is to empower each client with a skilful way of Being to ‘Be a lamp unto themselves’, based on the philosophy that the highest wisdom resides within the Self.

Prior to establishing her coaching consultancy in 2012,  Dr Nerisha held a global corporate career as a chartered accountant for Unilever and Deloitte, based in London, New York, South Africa and Botswana. Tasked with leading diverse teams and complex projects, her various roles spanned CEO/Exco support on strategy, risk, ethical governance, finance, and sustainability, rapidly shifting in succession. 

From regular solo journeys to far flung holy abodes in India, to trekking up to Angel Falls in the Venezuelan Amazon jungle, her nature is to seek out timeless experiential wisdom beyond the norm. Her ability to adapt swiftly to new experiences and navigate complexity with different ways of wholeness thinking, helps her effectively coach and creatively strategize with her multi-faceted inspiring clients, who include CEOs, scientists, start up tech founders, entrepreneurs, marine biologists, creatives, former police heroes, corporate managers, and social justice activists, across multiple countries and industry sectors.

With 15 years of coaching experience across diverse industries, including tech, logistics, FMCG, creative agency,  finance, and non-profit, Dr Nerisha has the ability to swiftly understand different environments and put people at ease. She seeks to offer world-class quality coaching at reasonable rates, encouraging accessibility to those who may never otherwise have access, working with both corporate and private clients. A devoted meditation practitioner for over 20 years, Dr Nerisha holds a 200-hour yoga teacher certification and is an ardent proponent thereof. She has taught meditation and yoga extensively, assisting clients from all walks of life to overcome anxiety and to cultivate a peaceful, calm and present mind.

Pioneering Authentic Self-Love in Leadership – A Holistic Approach

In 2015, Dr Nerisha published the first academic research in the world exploring the impact of authentic self-love in leadership, as part of her MBA. She is the author of Self-Love: The Authentic Path to Conscious Leadership.

She holds a PhD exploring spiritual intelligence in leadership through the wholeness and consciousness of Being, serving as adjunct faculty on the University of Cape Town GSB Executive MBA (FT ranked as the best in Africa) for nine years, teaching courses on Self-Mastery through the Enneagram and Authentic Self-Love in Leadership.

Dr Nerisha holds a deep love and appreciation for the universal underlying spiritual Truth in all wisdom traditions. While rooted in her own spiritual wisdom tradition, she has a catholic outlook, working with clients from all spiritual traditions and none, encouraging them all along their own path. Her life-long spiritual quest has included deep formal studies of ancient Upanishadic texts with senior monks from well-respected Orders. She maintains spiritual freedom without dogma, adhering to the teachings of authentic Self-realised saints and sages that she holds great reverence for.
